Terms of Use

By using PV Yield, you agree to treat its results as informational estimates only.

Use of the calculator

PV Yield provides solar investment estimates based on user inputs, weather sources, tariff assumptions, loss assumptions, financing assumptions, tax assumptions, and simplified calculation methods.

No professional advice

PV Yield does not provide financial, tax, legal, engineering, architectural, structural, utility interconnection, or investment advice. You should consult qualified local professionals before relying on any result.

User responsibility

You are responsible for checking the accuracy of all inputs, including location, system size, roof area, cost, tariff, tax treatment, incentives, financing, degradation, and loss assumptions.

You should not use a result as a purchase decision by itself. A responsible review normally includes an installer quote, roof or land assessment, utility tariff confirmation, export compensation rules, equipment warranty review, local permit requirements, and a conservative production case.

Third-party data

PV Yield may use third-party weather, solar, geocoding, or analytics services. Third-party data may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or different from actual site measurements.

Default costs and tariff assumptions are starting points for comparison. They can be wrong for a specific customer class, utility territory, contract date, incentive program, or financing structure. Users should replace defaults with project-specific numbers whenever available.

No marketplace relationship

PV Yield does not broker solar projects, sell equipment, arrange loans, or certify installers. Any supplier, lender, utility, tax, or engineering relationship is separate from PV Yield and should be evaluated independently.

Availability

The site may change, pause, or stop features without notice. PV Yield is provided as-is, without warranties about accuracy, availability, or fitness for a specific project.

Limitation

PV Yield is not liable for decisions, losses, or damages caused by relying on calculator output, content, or third-party data. Use the tool as one part of a broader diligence process.
